ADL Architecture

I'm Joe Mugisa. Principal Architect and the person behind ADL Architecture Studio. I founded ADL in Nelspruit in January 2017 with one belief: that residential design is one of the most meaningful things an architect can do. We don't just create spaces for people to live in. We create homes where people build memories. Where children grow up. Where families gather. Where someone looks out of the window they've looked out of for twenty years and still sees something that moves them.

I studied at the University of the Free State. I'm registered with SACAP (24714589) and a member of SAIA. I've worked on homes, lodges, retail and commercial projects across Mpumalanga, South Africa.

But residential design is what keeps me up at night — in the best way. ADL takes on a limited number of projects each year. Not because we can't grow faster. Because every client deserves a principal who knows their brief, knows their site, and knows their name.
