THREE CATEGORIES TO ENTER
Category A
Completed Architectural Projects
- New building(s) or group of buildings
- Work of Technological Importance
- The Conservation, restoration and/or rehabilitation (refurbishment) of existing buildings, historic precincts or areas.
- Exceptional small-scale or interior projects (max value: R7.5 million)
- A building or group of buildings showcasing the use of concrete roof tiles through innovation and creative design work
Category B
Non-Building (Academic/Research)
- Work of social importance, other than a building, for which the
member or architecture practice was appointed as the architect. - Research in the field of architecture.
Category C
Paper Architecture
- A work of unbuilt projects that were initially intended to be built; however, were never built due to financial constraints or other valid unforseen circumstances. These are projects that were completed in the past 10 years (2015 – 2024), although never built.
- Considered for a Commendation recognition only
